Everything that rises must converge. Out of uncertainty and change, we can make good things happen - if we work together. 

The forces of change are gaining strength around the globe. Every day, humans are being confronted with new and growing challenges – social, cultural, economic, environmental - that will impact our shared future. Some of these challenges result from our own actions; others are the outcome of a planet pushed to the brink.

Today, like so many who have gone before us, we are faced with an imminent choice: we can cower in fear and turn away from the forces of change that bear upon us. Or, we can rise up and face them - together. This is the concept behind the 2012 TedxAdamsMorgan conference on June 7 at the Sitar Arts Center. 

The vibrant and flourishing Adams Morgan neighborhood, having made its own strides in adapting to the forces of change, provides the perfect backdrop for the exchange of collaborative ideas that the Tedx experience represents.

At TedxAdamsMorgan, we will bring the “forces of change” theme to life through the exploration of five programmatic tracks by remarkable speakers representing diverse industries and cultures
